Graduation!!

Well, I'm officially done with school. Yipee! :) Here are a few pictures from this weekend.

Arboretum Nature Walk

I have always loved going to the arboretum here in town- it's so peaceful and calm. While our class was there on Thursday, I took a whole bunch of pictures to put on my blog. I took different types of things such as lighting in the woods, textures, and spring. There's so many picture opportunities in the arboretum, and the river adds even more to the photos. I added more than the 3-6 photos, but I just couldn't decide between all of these!!

Land of GIANTS

This "Land of Giants" assignment was really fun to do. I used my dog as well as myself in the picture. I shot the dog when she was running, and then had my mom take a picture of me. This was a pretty easy assignment to do, once I got all of the background out of the picture of me.

Light and Shadow

The other day I took pictures of my sister, Krista, for my "light and shadow" assignment. I had her do some dance moves outside and then took pictures of her and the shadows.

I guess I skipped my one subject project from when I was in Florida, so here's Krista as one subject, just different parts of her.

This one is my favorite of her; her ears are really flapping in the wind!!

Yesterday as I was shooting pictures for my abandoned decay project, I took the dog along with me. My brother and I rode the 4-Wheeler, and she ran the whole way beside us! I took some pictures of her as we were riding back. I really like how all of these turned out. It really shows how fast she is running for her very small size!

Abandoned

I took some pictures last night of some items that could be considered abandoned. Our neighbor has a "cabin" back in the woods by our house, and there are some things back there that have been sitting around forever, being useless.

This is an old boat that has been in the woods for awhile now. I really like this picture because the fence adds to the picture a lot. 

This is the same boat, just a different angle. I also really like this one too, because of the sun this time.

I saw this tire sitting against the cabin, and thought that this would be a good picture for an abandoned subject as well. 

There were so many good things to take pictures of at the cabin, so I had to take some pictures of all of these things!! Here is a birdhouse that really isn't abandoned, because there is a nest in there, but it is quite old.
