Land of GIANTS
This "Land of Giants" assignment was really fun to do. I used my dog as well as myself in the picture. I shot the dog when she was running, and then had my mom take a picture of me. This was a pretty easy assignment to do, once I got all of the background out of the picture of me.

Light and Shadow
The other day I took pictures of my sister, Krista, for my "light and shadow" assignment. I had her do some dance moves outside and then took pictures of her and the shadows.

One subject: Krista
I guess I skipped my one subject project from when I was in Florida, so here's Krista as one subject, just different parts of her.

Extra Post: Kookie!
This one is my favorite of her; her ears are really flapping in the wind!!
Yesterday as I was shooting pictures for my abandoned decay project, I took the dog along with me. My brother and I rode the 4-Wheeler, and she ran the whole way beside us! I took some pictures of her as we were riding back. I really like how all of these turned out. It really shows how fast she is running for her very small size!
Abandoned
I took some pictures last night of some items that could be considered abandoned. Our neighbor has a "cabin" back in the woods by our house, and there are some things back there that have been sitting around forever, being useless.
This is an old boat that has been in the woods for awhile now. I really like this picture because the fence adds to the picture a lot.
This is the same boat, just a different angle. I also really like this one too, because of the sun this time.
I saw this tire sitting against the cabin, and thought that this would be a good picture for an abandoned subject as well.
There were so many good things to take pictures of at the cabin, so I had to take some pictures of all of these things!! Here is a birdhouse that really isn't abandoned, because there is a nest in there, but it is quite old.

CD Covers: Lil' Ant
My genre of music for the CD designs was Hip Hop, otherwise known as rap music. This type of genre consists of stylized rhythmic music that accompanies rapping. This was developed as part of hip hop culture: MCing or Rapping, DJing, break dancing, or graffiti writing. Some of the instruments that go with this type of music are rapping, drums, sampler, guitar, bass, piano, beat-boxing, or vocals.
Some different types of Hip Hop include Jungles, drum & bass, trip hop, grime, break beat, hardcore, neosoul, and big beat.
Hip Hop originally started in Africa, then moved to the US in New York City. DJ Kool Herc was named as the Father of Hip Hop, as he was one of the first Hip Hoppers. HIp Hop is a generally new type of music, being just 30 years old.
Some actual artists include Lil' Wayne, Eminem, Snoop Dog, Usher, and Chris Brown. A few song examples include "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore as well as "Suit and Tie" by Justin Timberlake.
These photographs that I shot are what most other hip-hop artists do for their poses in their pictures. I chose to use the Gangster hat because it seems very fitting for the genre as well. Many artists don't have much expression to their faces, so I chose "neutral" type poses with his face.
I did run into a few issues with this project. I had the back cover done, and I accidentally deleted it, so I had to redo it. :( I also had a really tough time getting Anthony to focus without actually playing the drums to take these pictures. Oh well. Other than that, I thought that this was a very fun project.

Florida!!
This past week I went on a choir trip to Florida. We had three different performances: Busch Gardens, Epcot, and Ron Jon Surf Shop. Unlike Neillsville, Orlando had perfect weather all week long. During the week, we went to all four Disney parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, as well as Animal Kingdom. We also went to Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, and Cocoa Beach. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom, because Cinderella's castle is there, and it seems to make the Disney experience very magical. I took almost 450 pictures on my camera, as well as 250 more on my iPhone. Narrowing it down to a few was very hard, but here is a wide variety of pictures from the week.
Tower of Terror! In this ride, people get dropped 10 stories at a high speed, making it seem like you are going upside down.
We had lots of fun this week, why not make Mr. Attoe look gangsterish?
This is the whole choir at our first performance at Epcot. Standing there for nearly 20 minutes in those robes was horrible in the extreme heat. But, I'm not complaining, seeing as though we have cold weather here.
I think that this picture is my favorite picture from the trip. I love Minnie Mouse, and luckily we got to see her!!
Cinderella's Castle on an overcast day.
This was a ride at Universal Studios that took you straight up to the top of the ride, then dropped you at a 90 degree drop.
About the only bad part of this trip was my swollen ankles...High Blood Pressure, heat, and walking a ton don't go too well together!!
I like this shot of the Universal ball; I think the sun makes it look really cool.
Each one of the Disney parks has a certain "attraction" and this is Epcot's space ball.
This would be Magic Kingdom's "main attraction" or sight to see.
The fireworks at Magic Kingdom over Cinderella's Castle are definitely something to see at Disney.
This is the Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens, taking the people through the cheetah pens.
Hello, there Mr. Giraffe!! Busch Gardens also has fabulous animals at their park.
Last day in Florida, where almost everyone got terribly sun burnt in the blazing Florida sun..
